= IMPROVEMENTS =
- Improves the “hold down fn to toggle Yoink on-the-fly” functionality
- When double-clicking a file in Yoink to open it, the opening app now reliably becomes the frontmost app
- Improves how screen changes are handled (i.e., resolution changes, removing or adding displays, wake-from-sleep)
- On macOS 14 “Sonoma” and later, the clipboard history can now hold up to 200 items
- Now uses the new Share sheet on macOS 13 “Ventura” and newer
- Improves Yoink's behavior on Macs with multiple screens
- Improves the way the Clipboard History widget looks in background modes
- When Yoink isn't showing, and you drag something that you don't drop to Yoink, it will now hide again
- Improves the way Yoink behaves during drags in general
- Improves support for drags from private windows in Firefox
- Improves the reachability of Yoink's contextual menu, as you can now also right-click between the two buttons at the bottom to open it
- Improved the overall stability, reliability and performance of the app
- Changed the order of items in the contextual menu for improved clarity
- Double-clicking files in Yoink has been improved, as it now respects selected files, and better supports folders.
Hold down the command key (⌘) to reveal double-clicked files in Finder.
- You can now hide and show Yoink also from its icon in the menu bar
- Placing Yoink's window by moving it around has been improved
- Made Yoink's file list and window a little more appealing
- You can now mute the “Files in the Trash” warning for an hour, the day, or until Yoink is quit
- Yoink now displays a “Trash” symbol for files that are in the Trash
= BUG FIXES =
- Fixes a few memory leaks
- Fixes a potential crash of the Clipboard History widget
- Fixes a UI issue in the Settings window's toolbar, when the Extensions tab was selected
- The “Continue” button in the Splash screen now goes through every page before closing the window
- Fixes a bug where sometimes Yoink would hide even though a file was dropped on it
- Slightly increased the window corner radius on macOS 26 “Tahoe”
- Fixes an issue where the Continuity Camera menu item was shown in certain menus it didn't belong in
- Fixes a bug where, in rare cases, files within special folders would not be remembered over relaunches of Yoink or restarts of the Mac
- Fixes an issue where on rare occasions Quick Look-ing a file didn't work
- Removed the “resolve alias” functionality. While the alias could successfully be resolved to the original file, the resulting file path could not be used in the macOS app sandbox environment
- Fixes and improves some strings and localizations
- Fixes an issue with auto-sizing Yoink's window, where the list would grow way larger than it needed to be
- Fixes a bug where tipping wouldn't work on older versions of macOS
