ScreenFloat v2.3.4 (2026.01.05) contains the following new features, improvements and bug fixes:

= NEW FEATURES =
- The popover to easily drag out or share image shots in different file formats is now also available in the Shots Browser, and no longer exclusive to floating shots

= IMPROVEMENTS =
- Improves the performance of the Shots Browser's folder count calculations
- Improves the selection behavior in the Shots Browser when removing or deleting shots
- Improves the “Capture Selection” Control Widgets (screenshot / recording): Hold down the option key (⌥) to start a fullscreen capture
- On macOS 26 “Tahoe”, more menu items now have icons
- Improved how copying different data formats is handled: By default, a file path is now copied instead of the data, which would sometimes be auto-converted by macOS to TIFF, thus making conversion pointless
- Double-Click actions that are triggered with mouse buttons other than the left or right one now allow for the control modifier key

= BUG FIXES =
- Fixes a formatting issue for the date and time in custom filenames (thank you, Lukas B.)
- Fixes a bug where the floating shots' alpha-scroll indicator behaved weirdly sometimes
- Fixes a bug where folders' shots counts in the Shots Browser weren't updated correctly
- Fixes a bug where updating the credentials for ImageKit or Cloudinary sometimes didn't work
- Fixes a bug where fullscreen capturing would take the focus from the active app and thus any windows would be captured in an inactive state, too
- Fixes a bug in the GIF exporter UI where sometimes a higher FPS value than available would be preselected
- Fixes a bug when printing, where pages would sometimes “spill” onto the next one
- Fixes a bug where dismissing the Search in the Shots Browser using the Search button in the toolbar would not reset the search parameters and not show all shots
- Fixes a bug where using the left/right arrow keys in the Shots Browser to go through different shots could result in the info panel not being updated for the new selection
- Fixes a crash that could occur when changing the file naming scheme
- Fixes a minor UI issue where, when only a QR code is captured and the menu pops up, some items that should have been disabled were enabled
- Fixes a bug where force-clicking a floating shot could interfere with dragging an image from the shot from the content area, and vice-versa
- Fixes an issue with the floating shots' Drag-Out-Options popover, where it sometimes wouldn't close
- Fixes a memory leak in the floating shots' Drag-Out-Options popover
- Implemented a workaround for a macOS 26 “Tahoe” bug where windows' shadows sometimes weren't captured
- Fixes a bug in the Shots Browser, where, after dismissing the search, pressing keyboard keys would not be received correctly
- Fixes a bug that could prevent dragging a floating shot to other apps
- Fixes a bug where a certain combination of modifier flags for double-click actions would not work correctly
- Fixes a bug where duplicating a shot in the Shots Browser and renaming it right after with sync enabled would revert the name back to its original after sync
